Dignity Health opened its newest freestanding emergency room in San Tan Valley, Arizona today. The new facility is licensed under Dignity Health Arizona General Hospital - Mesa, which opened last year in the East Valley. The Joe Foss American Legion in partnership with Johnson Ranch will be hosting its 5th Annual Youth Fishing Derby Saturday, March 23, 2019. The event will be held at the Johnson Ranch Catch & Release Fishing Pond, located at the South end of the Greens Park. Registration will begin at 8:30 am and fishing starts at 9:00 am. This event is free of charge to all youth under the age of 18.

A second standalone Starbucks store has officially opened in San Tan Valley. Located on the northeast corner of Ironwood and Ocotillo, in San Tan Valley, Starbucks opened its doors at 4:00 am, with a line outside of customers that started forming at 3:30 am.
